The Rural Business Incubator

The Rural Business Incubator at Myerscough College is a purpose built incubation facility situated in the centre of the college campus. Myerscough College is the largest institution of its type in the country, providing education and training at all levels to the land-based sector.

The rural economy is playing an increasingly important role in the regeneration of England's Northwest. The Incubator at Myerscough is a focus for empowering this 'rural renaissance', supporting individuals and organisations to seek new business opportunities and move their growing businesses into the rural areas of the region.

We excel in helping new businesses, supporting their growth and sustainability. We specialise in co-ordinating experienced advisors to deliver start up advice including information on funding streams, marketing, signposting and provision of guidance material. Access to a wide range of training programmes help incubatees develop their business management and IT skills.
