Formed in 2002, Eek! Films Ltd builds upon sixteen years of experience in the animation industry. The studio uses up-to-the-minute technology combined with traditional animation techniques to provide animated content for film, TV or the web.
Tony Ealey, Eek Films' director, has an extensive list of credits with studios including
Disney, and Universal Studios. He has directed four top rated series for television and many title sequences and music promos.
Recent productions include a film for BBC 2 'Where's Janice At?' made with six teenagers from Liverpool. 'Red Ears is coming' which was screened at the FACT Centre in Liverpool and 'Be With Us' a documentary DVD for the pop group Atomic Kitten.
Eek Films uses traditional animation skills (the study of movement!) with variety of digital animation tools, primarily Adobe After Effects and Macromedia Flash. So if its animation that does stuff when you move a mouse over it or cartoons for the telly that you're after, Be sure to shout EEK!
